Third Place: a social environment separate from home (first place) and work (second place) where people can gather, interact, and build community.
It’s where people gather without agenda, where conversation flows, and where community is formed. Today, these spaces are becoming a disappearing luxury, yet they remain essential for building genuine connection beyond our private and professional lives.
If we can give anything back to the world, it’s the creation and preservation of third places for everyone. Spaces rooted in openness, creativity, and shared experience. Places that allow tight-knit creative communities to grow naturally, without pressure or performance.
We believe in enjoying every part of the journey, physically, mentally, spiritually, and creatively. Time is precious, and connection is fleeting. As our community grows, our vision is to bring this philosophy to life through physical spaces grounded in real human creativity, honest interaction, and a slower, more meaningful way of being together.
In a world increasingly shaped by automation and artificial intelligence, we know it’s more important than ever to protect what makes us human: creativity, craftsmanship, and timeless art. AI has no place in our art, our fashion, our music, or our creative process. These are human stories, and they deserve to remain that way.
Through collaboration with creatives both local and abroad, we aim to support and amplify authentic artistry in all its forms, from photographers and painters to baristas and chefs. At a time when technology continues to reshape creative industries, giving space to the human touch isn’t just important, it’s essential.
Our inspiration is deeply rooted in classic Mediterranean and European café culture. Cafés have always been places of connection, conversation, and creativity, spaces where journeys slow down and relationships naturally form. Many of the most meaningful connections in our lives were made around café tables, surrounded by the rhythm and diversity of cultures from around the world. The spirit of enjoying the journey, embracing community, and celebrating culture is the foundation of our style and our vision.
A vision means nothing without the quality to support it. We spent over a year testing and refining our production process, working with partners across the globe until we found those who truly aligned with our standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical production.
We work tirelessly with our production partners to ensure all of our pieces are , sourcing fabrics from one of Portugal’s most historic mills and crafting our garments in respected, ethically operated factories within Portugal’s renowned textile region. Every piece is made with intention, care, and respect for the people behind it.
In Reflection:
Upon building and curating Lost Way as a fashion forward mission, it is also essential for us to emphasize how important these pillars are to our growth as humans and our vision for the future of the company.
As always, with love and confidence... enjoy the journey
